WHAT IS SHAKATA BOOM

Shakata Boom is a systemic blood circulatory and muscularity toning dance workout, based around the study of autoimmune disease symptoms combined with resistant training and visceral fat postural training, use as a rehabilitation assistant for occupational therapy.  The three-part movement sequence consists of three main components which are standing, floor, and floating physical preventive intervention. these are grouped into separate classification but are sometimes mixed in the teaching choreography. All movements are designed to expand the blood vessels 3 main transportation muscles and increase the vasodilation process which is the primary reason for Shakata Boom being created.  Along with this are five additional notable advantages which are:

1. Increase in muscle definition and strength.

2. Improved focused.

3. A wider range of motion and flexibility.

4. Self-confidence and mindfulness.

5. A sense of achievement from learning a new physical therapy skill weekly.

WHO IS THIS FOR?

If you take away the very serious medical restorative and receding aspect of the physical preventive intervention. Shakata Boom is a fun movement exercise for everyone from as little as 3-year-old right up to 99 also for pre and postnatal women who have checked with their doctor. As you can imagine the level of intensity, speed, and combination will adjust to the audience's abilities. But lo and behold this intervention style is meant to be enjoyed by the masses.

IS THIS FOR MEN AND WOMEN?

Absolutely this is very inclusive and open to both men and women. Please note we do on occasion have women-only programs and classes but this is easy to identify and will say clearly in the advertisement for women only if this is the case.

WHAT SHOULD YOU WEAR TO A CLASS

It's advisable to wear something comfortable you like shorts wear if you wear loose shorts its advisable to wear leggings under them due to the floor work.

CAN I PARTICPATE WHILST PREGNANT

Yes, you are allowed to participate in the moves but please consult your GP so that they can give you the medical approval. Please also listen to your body and take each movement at the pace that feels right for you, its better to show up each day and move according to the beat of your body than to go full out and exasperate yourself.

You should also inform the practitioner at the start of the class so please arrive early.

HOW SOON CAN I START EXERCISING AFTER HAVING A BABY 

Generally, to get back to proper, high-impact exercise, it's best to wait until your six-week postnatal check-up. It will also depend on what type of birth you had. For example, if you had a caesarean section, your recovery time might be longer.

WILL I NEED ANYTHING FOR THE WORKOUT

Yes!

If you are working out at home and you do not have any workout equipment you should have

Two x 2 liters of water or two x cans of beans (to use as heavyweights).

Two x1 liters of water (to use as lightweights).

2 towels or an exercise mat and one towel (for floor work)

One 2 liters of water for drinking.

Or 

Floor mat (the thicker the better)

1set of 2 and a half kg

1set of 1and half kg

Knee pads or towel 

 leg weights 

Please note you still can participate without the equipment but you will not have the full superior intended results - but you will experience a noticeable improvement.

The purpose of our consultation is to listen to the client's and help identify a plan to move forward and solve your problems and accomplishing their goals. WHAT HAPPENS IF I MISS MY CONSULTATION OR SESSION 

If you miss your consultation or session without notifying our team via email you will not be issued a refund, This is due to the time spent to prep for the client puls holding of the slot we understand the importance of time and we aim to respect our clients time and ask that this is reciprocated to maintain the standards of the service. So we ask that our clients also show up on time for all appointments plus have submitted the questionnaire back to us via email (and asked that you kindly notify us 48 hours from the time your appointment time was meant to take place.
